Year 8 Trip to Llangrannog residential camp.
Nineteen pupils from year 8 attended a 3 day residential course at the Urdd Gobaith Cymru camp at Llangrannog between the 1st and the 3rd of November 2010.
Pupils from Abersychan had the opportunity to socialise with other students from neighbouring schools in Gwent and the staff at the camp through the medium of the Welsh language. Pupils saw how the language can be used in every day situation.
The pupils took part in many fun activities including skiing, tobogganing, horse ridding, quad biking and go karting. Both staff and pupils had a great time and the activity staff at the camp could not praise the pupils from Abersychan enough for their good behaviour.
We hope to run the trip again next year for the current year 7.
