History Visit to London 16.12.09

B. Evans and Mr D. Thomas of the History department took a group of 45 Year 10 & 11 Pupils on a visit to London.

The pupils first went to the Imperial War Museum where they spent time investigating the First and Second World War Galleries as well as looking at the incredibly moving holocaust exhibition. Some brave pupils even undertook the Blitz experience!

The pupils then enjoyed a breathtaking ride on the London Eye during a blizzard, before doing some Christmas shopping and celebrity spotting at Harrods. A fabulous day was had by all and the pupils were a real credit to the school.
