10/7/11 - Mixed results for rugby and football teams.  Abersychan's Year 7 Football Team successfully made it through to the second round of the U12 Welsh Cup winning 2-1 in a tough encounter with Monmouth Comp.  The Year 8 Rugby team were also victorious, again beating Monmouth.  However, Year 11's lost narrowly in controversial circumstances against Monmouth despite playing very well.

7/11/11 - Year 9 progress again!  The Year 9 Football team progressed to the next round of the U14 Welsh Cup after a nailbiting match against Chepstow.

20/10/11 - Well done to the Year 9 Rugby Team who beat St. Albans 53-0.  Year 9's were dominant throughout with an excellent performance again from Jared Rosser.
