Results 2011

 Key Stage 3

The results in the Key Stage 3 core subjects (English, Mathematics and Science) are given below. The table includes all pupils in Year 9, including the Special Needs Resource Base (SNRB).

All results shown below represent a percentage of the year group e.g. 55% of pupils in Year 9 achieved the Core Subject Indicator. The Core Subject Indicator represents pupils who achieve a Level 5 (or better) in all three core subjects

The Fischer Family Trust (FFT) estimates are based on pupil performance at KS2 when they finished primary school

All three core subjects performed above their 2011 FFT predictions and consequently the Core Subject Indicator also exceeded the FFT predictions, suggesting that pupils have made significant progress since Year 7.

NEA

The Fischer Family Trust (FFT) estimates are based on pupil performance at KS2 and KS3. NEA = No Estimate Avaliable (FFT do not provide estimates for all indicators)

The 2011 results fell within, or in most cases, exceeded the Fischer Family Trust range estimates. The results in 2011 have sustained and improved upon the tremendous progress made in 2010 and represent further evidence of the excellent progress being made by the school.
